An R&D centre’s website in place of a site-builder page

The website presents CBRIT’s competences, services and partners, and collects cooperation enquiries. It replaced a site made with a website builder and runs on its own domain.

Challenge

CBRIT develops and commercialises technologies for the energy sector. The site made with a website builder did not reflect the scale of this activity, and the centre had no control over the form or the cookie consents.

The new website was to take over the traffic from the old addresses and lead the visitor to a conversation about cooperation.

Solution

We designed and implemented the website from scratch: from the content structure to the server.

  • Presentation of the technology areas, services, cooperation model and partners
  • Scroll animations built on GSAP and Lenis
  • A contact form with sending via SMTP, spam protection and a submission limit
  • A consent banner with Google Consent Mode v2, and a privacy policy
  • Redirects from the old addresses, a sitemap and data for search engines
  • Locally hosted fonts, a TLS certificate and hosting on our side

Outcome

  • The website runs on the cbrit.org domain
  • The old addresses lead to the new content
  • Enquiries from the form reach the centre’s mailbox
  • The map and the analytics tools start only after the user gives consent
